Yantai lures global travelers

A tourism promotion conference was held in Yantai, East China's Shandong province on May 24.

As an important part of the World Senior Tourism Congress, the event showcased Yantai’s tourism resources, Jiaodong traditional culture and intangible culture heritages of Shandong province.

A total of 715 guests from 76 countries of Asia, Europe, Africa, and North America joined the carnival to experience local traditional culture.

The "Friendly Shandong, Night of Yantai" Tourism Promotion Conference heralded the World Senior Tourism Congress which is being held from May 24 to 31.

The World Senior Tourism Congress will play an important role in improving the seniors' lives, developing study tours for senior people and further promoting the international tourism industry.
