Zhao Ming, a professor at the school of industrial technology at Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology (IMUST), and Liu Fang, a senior engineer, attended the 2018 Macao International Environmental Cooperation Forum and Exhibition on behalf of IMUST, according to a May 23 Baotou Daily report.
The two IMUST representatives gained deeper understanding and developed cooperative plans with representatives of Beijing Enterprises Water Group, Hong Kong Environmental Protection Department and Inner Mongolia Juhong Group, among other enterprises.
Since its launch in 2008, the Macao International Environmental Cooperation Forum and Exhibition (MIECF) has been building a green platform both in the Pan-Pearl River Delta region and internationally. The organization has made every effort to contribute to the transfer of environmental technologies and the promotion of sustainable development.
This year's forum, which ran under a theme of “building an ecological city and sharing a green economy”, featured a special exhibition area for environmental protection products. Projects from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area were also on display.
More than 400 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions participated in six green forums and one special session during the three-day event. More than 50 speakers from different countries and regions discussed common international environmental concerns.
