New dance drama to be staged in Baotou

A dance drama named Sui Han Ma Tou (Port City) is to be staged in Baotou, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on May 24 and 25, reports Baotou Daily.

The play, funded by the China National Arts Fund, depicts events that took place during the Republic of China period (1912-1949) and shows the close ties between the Mongolian and Han people.

The dance drama is now under rehearsal.
