Baotou hosts investment event in Xi’an

Some 100 businesspeople attended the Baotou Investment Environment and Project Promotion Briefing Meeting held in Xi’an, the capital of Shaanxi province, on May 21, reports Baotou Daily.

The event, co-hosted by the Development and Reform Commission of Inner Mongolia autonomous region and the Baotou government, was staged in conjunction with the Third Silk Road International Exposition and the Investment and Trade Forum for Cooperation between East and West China.

Liu Feng, deputy mayor of Baotou, introduced attendees to the city’s economic and social developments.

Baotou’s investment promotion bureau described its investment service environment and key city projects to attendees. Representatives from districts and banners under the city administration promoted key projects at the event, including Donghe district and Tumd Right Banner, both of which won the contract for a cultural industry project.
