The Shanxi provincial government signed an agreement with the National Grain and Material Reserve Bureau in Taiyuan on May 20 to advance the development of the grain industry in the province.
The two sides will cooperate in seven aspects, including establishing a grain production functional area, accelerating the construction of a grain inspection and monitoring system and supporting Shanxi Agricultural University in building a functional grain technology innovation center.
The National Grain & Material Reserve Bureau has been offering Shanxi support in increasing grain storage capacity, quality grain projects and grain brand building for a long time. The partnership was another measure to develop the province's grain industry.
