Staff members from Inner Mongolia Radio and Television Station who produced a program on Karl Marx were invited by the College of Literature and Journalism of Inner Mongolia University (IMU) on May 17 to share their work and ideas, allowing young college students to learn more about one of history’s great thinkers.
The event was held to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Marx’s birth, and to encourage a younger generation to learn about Marx as an individual, and to understand the practice of his theory in current society.
A number of students shared their experiences of encountering Marx and his theories in ideological and political courses. Event organizers hope Marxist theory can guide young students in the service of society, the country and its people, and to make continuing contributions to the realization of the Chinese dream.
