Shenyang in Northeast China’s Liaoning province has recruited four people from Taiwan province to work as arbitrators, in an effort by the city to create a better business environment and boost economic ties.
The arbitrators will provide professional consultation services for businesspeople from Taiwan when they become involved in civil and commercial disputes, protecting their legal interests.
With the growth of investment and trade between Shenyang and Taiwan, providing a better business environment is becoming a priority for Shenyang, said Zhang Jin, deputy director of Shenyang Arbitration Commission.
