Two teams consisting of seven students from North Heavy Industries No 3 Middle School won first place at the FLL Engineering Challenge of the 18th China Adolescent Robotics Competition (CARC) (Inner Mongolia autonomous region division), Baotou Daily reported on May 18.
The seven students will participate in the 18th CARC final which is to take place in July, in Guiyang, Guizhou province.
Starting in 2001, CARC is a popular science and technology education activity organized by the Chinese Association for Science and Technology to encourage the development of new skills.
The competition is held once a year, and is now in its 18th session.
It has become China's largest domestic robotics competition for teenagers, with a growing influence and reputation.
