Shenyang museums form new alliance

A total of 19 museums in Shenyang, Northeast China’s Liaoning province agreed to form an alliance on May 16, with the aim of providing better services and promoting tourism and culture. 

The new alliance includes the 9.18 Historical Museum, the Paleontological Museum of Liaoning, and Shenyang Aircraft Corporation Aviation Expo Park.

In addition to museums, 13 art galleries are among the 19 members of the alliance, including a paper-cutting art museum and clay figurine museum.

The museums also announced the launch of special events, such as World War II photography exhibitions, and activities focusing on aviation.
