Shanghai Lingang Group and the Zeebrugge Port of Belgium reached a strategic cooperation framework agreement on May 11.
The two parties agreed to strengthen connectivity through integration of resource elements such as capital, technologies, talents and policies, aiming to build an international trade cooperation base.
According to the agreement, the two sides will develop a pattern to promote cooperation through trade routes and industrial resource matchmaking, and hopefully establish a one-stop Sino-European trade facilitation platform.
The first China International Import Expo, which shows China's firm stand on open market, will kick off in Shanghai this November. It invites enterprises from around the world, including those from Belgium, to take part.
