Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, resumed flights to Hong Kong on May 15, an important step in building Hohhot airport into an international hub.
The flight, operated by Shandong Airlines, can accommodate 167 passengers.
According to the schedule, the air route will depart Hohhot at 12:05 pm on Tuesdays and Sundays every week. It will arrive at Hong Kong just under four hours later.
The resumption of the air route will greatly shorten travel time between the two cities and help improve the investment environment in Hohhot and strengthen business cooperation with Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
