A series of tourism activities will be held around Inner Mongolia autonomous region in celebration of China's annual National Tourism Day.
China's National Tourism Day falls on May 19 in commemoration of Xu Xiake, a great Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) traveler and geographer. The day sees many attractions and scenic areas in China providing free or discounted admission inspired by the an aim of improving public tourism and travel services.
