More than 600 famous Chinese brands across the country displayed their latest independently-developed products at the 1st Exposition of Chinese Indigenous Brands that took place in Shanghai from May 10 to 12.
The exhibits featured microchips, high-speed trains, airplanes, submersibles, high-end medical imaging equipment, green food, and many other China-made products.
The three-day event, approved by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, was aimed at increasing the exposure and influence of China-made products.
The launching of the exhibition also indicates that Chinese manufacturers and consumers are paying more attention to brand, a change that will be conducive to the transformation and development of the Chinese economy.
