Many spectators were attracted by the Hunan province comprehensive hall and Changsha exhibition hall, which opened on May 10 at the 14th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF).
The Hunan delegation arranged for seven state-owned cultural groups and some intangible cultural heritage and cultural innovation enterprises to attend the fair and demonstrate Hunan's recent new-era achievements in cultural reform and development.
The ICIF kicked off in the city of Shenzhen on May 10, and is estimated to have hosted around 21,000 buyers from 101 countries and regions in just four days.
At the main venue of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, which covers an area of 105,000 square meters, a total of 2,308 delegations from governments, enterprises and institutions participated in cultural exchanges and trade, showcasing tremendous achievements in the cultural industry, trendy designs, animation, publishing, digital culture, arts and crafts, and intangible cultural heritages. The event will take place across nine halls.

This year's fair has attracted 130 exhibitors from 42 countries and regions, including the UK, France, Spain, Romania, Latvia, Serbia, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. The exhibition areas for overseas exhibitors account for 20 percent of the total exhibition area. In Hall Seven, the only hall for international exhibitors that covers 7,500 square meters, countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative display their traditional arts and crafts, creative designs, intangible cultural heritages, and cultural tourism resources, attracting many visitors.
From May 10 to 14, the organizer hosted over 60 culture-themed seminars and promotions at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center and sub-venues of the fair. In addition, a series of cultural exhibitions, business promotions, and match-making events were held.
