Hondlon district records steady Q1 growth

Hondlon district in Baotou, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, maintained steady economic growth in the first quarter of 2018 with the district’s GDP increasing by 5.3 percent, 0.1 percentage points higher than the city’s average, according to Baotou Daily.

Statistics revealed that primary industry grew by 2.6 percent, secondary industry grew by 7.4 percent, and tertiary industry increased by 4.2 percent.

The added value of industries above a designated scale achieved year-on-year growth of 7.8 percent, 1.7 percentage points higher than the city’s average.

The general public budget totaled 493 million yuan ($77.79 million).

And per capita disposable income of urban residents hit 13,497 yuan, 927 yuan more than the city’s average, year-on-year increase of 7.3 percent.
