A summit on artificial intelligence and robotic learning opened Thursday in Beijing to discuss the development and prospects of artificial intelligence.
Co-hosted by the Chinese Academy of Engineering and China Electronics Technology Group Corp, the two-day summit has drawn nearly 300 researchers and enterprise representatives from home and abroad, said a statement from China Electronics Technology Group Corp.
The event was intended to foster cooperation among domestic and overseas research entities and enterprises, explore development paths in the future, boost innovation as well as improve AI-related industries in China, said the statement.
Wu Manqing, deputy general manager of China Electronics Technology Group Corp and academician from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, said at the opening ceremony that his company plans to incorporate AI technologies into its products and take advantage of such technologies to help to upgrade its research and development capabilities.
