The first exposition on China's Indigenous Brands, a key event for China Brand Day, took place Thursday in Shanghai.
The three-day exposition had a theme of "Chinese brands, worldwide sharing" this year. Covering about 25,000 square meters at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, the expo attracted more than 600 domestic companies, including State-owned enterprises such as the China National Nuclear Corporation and China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, as well as privately owned companies such as China's largest online travel agency Ctrip and Qingdao-based home appliance giant Haier.
