28 Hunan enterprises attend China's first indigenous brand expo

A delegation from Hunan province attended the first session of the Exposition on China Indigenous Brand (ECIB) and the International Forum on China Brand Development (IFCBD) held at the Shanghai Exhibition Center from May 10 to 12. 

Aiming to promote Hunan brands and show Hunan's brand-building achievements and local culture, 28 indigenous brand enterprises involved in high-end manufacturing, agricultural industrialization, and cultural industries were selected to display their products and corporate culture at an exhibition covering an area of 260 sq m.

In recent years, Hunan has vigorously implemented the brand strategy, further strengthened reform awareness, and innovated new working methods to boost the number of industries developing into mid-to-high end industries. At present, Hunan has 402 well-known trademarks, as identified by the State Administration of Industry and Commerce. This is the highest number in Central and Western China.

The 25,000-sq-m high-level expo has attracted 50 delegations representing more than 500 famous brand enterprises from around the country. Its theme is "China Brand, World Sharing". Both ECIB and IFCBD are organized to fall on China Brand Day on May 10 every year.

Individuals can attend the expo for free with an ID card or passport. Groups of over 20 people will be provided with free interpretation services if they make an appointment.
