9.18 Historical Museum to close for 3 months

The 9.18 Historical Museum in Shenyang, Liaoning province, will be closed from May 20 to Aug 31 for repairs and renovation, according to recent news reports.
The renovation work is the largest-scale project to take place at the site since the museum’s establishment in 1999.
It will reopen to the public on Sept 1.
