China, South Korea and Japan are expected to strengthen cooperation on customs enforcement and information sharing.
Details on expanding cooperation and improving cooperation mechanisms are being discussed at the seventh China-South Korea-Japan Customs Enforcement and Information Working Meeting, which is held in Shenyang, capital city of Liaoning province from May 8 to 10.
Enforcement against smuggling of solid waste, drugs, gold, endangered species and tackling fraud are priority areas for the three countries.
The move is of great importance to create a safe and fair customs environment, as well as to help facilitate trade.
