Around 430 foreigners arrived in Yantai, East China's Shandong province aboard Seabourn Sojourn, a luxury liner from the Seabourn Cruise Line, for a one-day tour on May 6.
The passengers, all 60-70 years old from the United States, Australia and other countries, visited the city's renowned scenic spots like Yantaishan Mountain Park, Changyu Wine Culture Museum and Mou’s Manor, the former residence of Mou Molin, a landlord in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
The travelers are also participants to the World Elderly Travel Conference which is to be held in Yantai on May 24 aiming to enhance the city's international popularity and promote the Internationalization of travel for seniors.
Seabourn Cruise is a luxury cruise line headquartered in the U.S. It operates cruises around the world. This is the first time that the Seabourn Sojourn has visited Yantai port.
