Darhan Muminggan Joint Banner of Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, recorded continued growth in the first quarter of 2018, with performance in every aspect indicating steady growth, reports Baotou Daily.
The statistics just released reveal that the GDP of the banner increased by 3.3 percent year on year, of which the value added in the primary industry sector increased by 2.5 percent, the value added in the secondary industry sector increased by 5.4 percent, and the value added in the tertiary industry sector increased by 1.6 percent.
During the first quarter, per capita disposable income of residents in the banner was 11,041 yuan ($1736.33), year-on-year growth of 7.6 percent –– the same as the city's average growth rate.
Industrial production in the banner was generally stable, with industrial added value of the banner’s entire industry reported as 5.4 percent for the year, of which: the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 4.5 percent, and the added value of industries below designated size increased by 9.1 percent, which was 1.1 percent higher than the average growth rate of the city.
