Baotou students win vocational skills competition

Students from Baotou Light Industry Vocational Technical College achieved first place in the 2018 National Vocational Student Skills Competition (Inner Mongolia division) for Industrial Robot Application Technology and Industrial Product Digital Design and Manufacturing, according to a May 2 Baotou Daily report.

The students will take part in a national-level competition in June on behalf of Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

The National Vocational Student Skills Competition is a national vocational college student skills contest initiated by the Ministry of Education. The competition is aimed at deepening reforms to the teaching of vocational education, promoting integration of production and education, school-enterprise cooperation, promoting the combination of talent cultivation and industrial development, and expanding the international exchange of vocational education.

The contest has become a broad stage for teachers and students to showcase their talents and pursue their dreams. It has become an important starting point for promoting the reform and development of vocational education in the country.
