Model workers honored in Xinwu district

Outstanding employees working in Xinwu district, Wuxi, were commended at a ceremony held on April 27, just in time for International Workers' Day.

The ceremony announced the winners of the model worker awards. Outstanding individuals from Xinwu district-based companies including China Daily (Wuxi) and Hitachi (Wuxi) were awarded.

James Skinner, the representative of the winners of the Outstanding Foreign Employee Award, arrived in China from the UK three years ago and is an editor at China Daily (Wuxi).

Skinner expressed his gratitude for the award and said that he enjoyed living and working in Wuxi.
