The China Yixing Ceramic Museum was the first ceramic museum in China. It was officially approved as China's Zisha Museum in November 2013, becoming the first national museum in Yixing.
Covering an area of 40,000 square meters, it is a large, imposing and highly professional ceramic museum that, in addition to exhibiting pottery items, also engages in research, publishing, historical preservation and exchanges.

Yixing Ceramic Museum has a vast collection of exhibits, illuminating Yixing's long history of pottery production and rich pottery culture. Yixing has a history of over 7,000 years, and is regarded as China's "home of purple clay".
In recent years, the China Yixing Ceramic museum has held several domestic and international activities and received millions of visitors from home and abroad. The museum plays an important role in the promotion of China's pottery art.
