The Port of Qingdao (青岛港集团)commenced operations in 1892 and it is the seventh largest port in the world. It is located midway between the Bohai Bay port group and the Yangzte River Delta port group.
The port is mainly used for the loading and unloading, storage, transit, distribution, and other logistics services of international import and export goods such as containers, crude oil, iron ore, coal, and grain, as well as international passenger transportation services. It has trade relations with more than 700 ports in more than 180 countries and regions in the world.
