International Peace Maternity & Child Health Hospital 

International Peace Maternity & Child Health Hospital, founded in 1952 in Shanghai by Soong Ching Ling, the nation's former honorary president, has now developed into a high-level maternal and child health care hospital integrating medical services, health care, research and training.

It possesses 480 approved beds (500 actually-open beds) and 933 staff members, among whom 89.9% are health technical persons, including 28 directors and 66 deputy directors. The hospital is equipped with the latest modern diagnosis and treatment devices such as Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, and features clinic departments including Gynecology, Reproductive Medicine, Family Planning, Obstetrics, Neonatology, etc. and health care departments including Prevention & Healthcare, Child Health Care, etc.

The hospital is now affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University and is a teaching hospital of Shanghai Second Medical University. It has also established partnerships with a dozen of well-known institutions around the world, such as Queen Mary Hospital of University of Hong Kong and the United Nations Children's Fund.
