Olivia Chow, the source of inspiration for LIH Olivia's Place
LIH Olivia's Place is a medical center that provides world-class and multidisciplinary pediatric therapy services to children of all abilities and ages. Named after Olivia Chow, a cheerful girl who has Down's Syndrome, it was originally founded by her parents, hoping to provide Olivia and other children world-class therapy care.
The center offers occupational therapy consulting, physical therapy consulting, speech language therapy consulting, psychological consulting, learning support and applied behavioral analysis services for children from birth to adolescence. It also provides classes to the community, teachers, schools, hospitals, clinics, orphanages, universities and local therapists.
In addition, Olivia's Foundation provides funds to cover the cost of care for families that cannot otherwise afford services.
