Baotou Daily among top 100 newspapers and periodicals

Baotou Daily was selected as one of the top 100 newspapers and periodicals in China according to a recently released list from the State Administration of Radio and Television, making it the only winner from Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

It is the highest honor a newspaper can receive in China. A total of five local newspapers were listed.

Baotou Daily, first published on Dec 16, 1931, has a history of 87 years and has published Party newspapers for 66 years. It is one of the oldest newspapers in Inner Mongolia.
