Qingdao West Coast New Area People’s Hospital

Qingdao West Coast New Area People's Hospital was built in July 1950. It covers an area of 51,960 square meters and has a floor area of 77,011 square meters and 1,200 beds. It is a comprehensive second-grade class-A hospital which integrates medical treatment, health care, teaching, scientific research and first aid. 

The hospital has 28 clinical departments, 11 medical laboratories and 24 function departments. The cardiac interventions technique and treatment for acute brain injury are specialties of Qingdao, while its neurosurgery is the Grade B key subject of clinical medicine in Qingdao. Its department of traditional Chinese medicine is the traditional medical demonstration clinic for outpatients in Qingdao.
