Seagate Technology International (Wuxi) Co, founded in July 1995 in the Wuxi-Singapore Industrial Park, is a manufacturer of Head Stack/Gimbal Assemblies and hard disc drives. Today, Wuxi is Seagate's largest volume production site targeting the traditional personal computing market and the fast-growing consumer electronics (CE) space. The current 58,000-square meter plant contains highly automated and technology-intensive assembly systems, which are housed in a strictly controlled "clean room" environment that ensure the highest product quality.

As one of the earliest foreign companies settling in the Wuxi-Singapore Industrial Park, Seagate Wuxi has undergone several expansions with an accumulated investment exceeding $500 million. It has also earned many honors in the decade. It has been named the Top Foreign Enterprise in China (1999-2003). It was the first on the list of Top 100 Wuxi Industrial Enterprises in 2003.
