Caterpillar (China) Machinery Components Co, established in 2005, is located in the Wuxi Xinwu district (Wuxi Hi-tech district), Jiangsu province, with manufacturing space of 101,000 square meters set on 19 hectares (49 acres). It owns three independent facilities that design and manufacture hydraulic and powertrain components and operator stations, and manages a specialty products leased facility for the assembly of hose components. By 2012, it has nearly 1,400 employees.
