Two giant pandas from Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding arrived at Hohhot Baita International Airport, Inner Mongolia autonomous region on April 19.
The two pandas, named Sa'er and Xixi, were checked by veterinary staff on arrival and confirmed to be in good health.
The pair are destined for Hohhot's Daqingshan Wildlife Park where they will be able to enjoy 1,297.8 square meters of outdoor space, as well as four indoor rooms.
The park has state-of-the-art facilities, including top notch medical facilities and air conditioning to maintain an appropriate temperature.
Sa'er and Xixi will be on display for the public from May 1, and are expected to stay at the park for three years.
