A painting and calligraphy exhibition looking back at the history and achievements of Ulan Muqir art troupes was opened at Inner Mongolia Art Museum in Hohhot on April 20.
The exhibition was organized by the United Front Work Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Inner Mongolia Research Institute of Culture and History, attracting a large number of visitors from across the city.
Nearly 110 items were on display including 37 calligraphy works, 19 traditional Chinese Paintings and 54 photographs.
The exhibition was aimed at promoting the spirit of Ulan Muqir troupes and encouraging more innovative works.
It is scheduled to conclude on April 26.
