Zhang Yuanzhong visits Baotou high-tech district

Zhang Yuanzhong, secretary of the CPC Baotou municipal committee, called for more efforts in Baotou city’s rare earth industry to boost regional economic development during his visit to Baotou Rare Earth High-Tech Industrial Development Zone on April 17, reports Baotou Daily.

He visited a production workshop owned by Baotou Jinshan Magnetic Materials Co, and learned about the production process, sales, and project construction of the company.

The government official then listened to the introduction of intelligent equipment operation and school-enterprise cooperation during his visit to Zhongke Intelligent Technology Co.

Zhang emphasized the importance of strengthening exchanges and cooperation between schools and local companies.

A forum highlighting the development of the rare earth industry in Baotou was held on the same day, presided over by Zhang. Various attendees stressed that more effort should be placed on the construction of rare earth new material industrial parks and technological innovations in the industry. Many speakers also felt that the city should accelerate the agglomeration of rare earth industries, and create rare earth brand effects to boost development and breakthroughs in the industry.
