China United Property Insurance Co Ltd Shanghai Branch

Founded in 1986, China United Property Insurance Co Ltd is the nation's second state-holding insurer wholly owned by China United Insurance Holding Co. Its Shanghai branch was inaugurated in 2003.

With altogether 18 sub-branches across the entire city and nearly 500 staff members, the Shanghai Branch covers all the approved products of property insurance. It has so far provided an accumulative amount of over one trillion yuan ($160 billion) of insurance to the society and has paid insurance claims of over 5 billion yuan ($800 million).
