Cebu Daily News recommends Ordos with special report

The city of Ordos in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region made it into the pages of Cebu Daily News, a highly popular newspaper in the Philippines, on March 3.

The city was promoted in a special column reserved by Cebu Daily News to recommend and publicize selected cities in China.

Ordos stood out and was selected as the first to be featured, with a special report on its attractions.

Francisco Benedicto, former deputy minister of the Philippines’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote an inscription on the top of the special column to express his best wishes for the friendship between China and the Philippines, as well as to the city of Ordos.

On the lower left section of the page, there were several quotes from Shi Yong, the consul general at China’s embassy in the Philippines.
