The Hunchun Municipal Library, founded in 1976, covers an area of 760 sq m and offers a lending office, two reading rooms for adults and children respectively, an online reading room and a news room.
To date, the library has collected nearly 80,000 paper books and dozens of kinds of newspapers and magazines. It is also a base for promotion of cultural knowledge and searches for old files for scientific usage.
