The government of Lushunkou district in Dalian city, Northeast China’s Liaoning province, has been active in talent introduction to promote the social and economic development of the area.
The district has carried out supply-side structural reform in works concerning human resources to accelerate the diversification of talent training.
Since last year, the local human resource department has held a series of job fairs in Liaoning and Jiangsu provinces. It has also cooperated with many universities, such as Fudan University and Nanjing University, in talent training and introduction.
A talent service platform was also set up to help introduce high-end workers and R & D teams for local businesses.
The district has won the national approval of 12 R & D projects, introduced 39 experts and received national R & D fund of more than 2.7 million yuan ($429,570) since last year, effectively boosting the industrial development of the district.
