Investment Association of China becomes member of CIFIT

The Investment Association of China (IAC), the most authoritative investment agency in China, recently agreed to become one of CIFIT's 57 members, according to CIFIT's organizing committee.

IAC is expected to inject a new vitality into CIFIT while also providing it with more resources, which may make the event more esteemed.

The association would make full use of its abundant resources to attract member enterprises to the event. It also plans to hold the 2018 International Conference on Green Development during the 2018 CIFIT.

The green innovation index of listed companies will be released at the conference, which will help spur the development of the green economy.

IAC is dedicated to offering advice on China's economic and social development, serving its more than 1,000 member enterprises, and acting as a bridge between the Chinese government and its member enterprises.

After 20 years of development, the CIFIT has grown from a regional economic activity into an international investment promotion event, and continues to attract more and more professional institutions.

The 2017 CIFIT witnessed the signing of 1,577 investment projects worth 532.7 billion yuan ($81.0 billion) and attracted more than 100,000 domestic and foreign business representatives from 107 countries and regions, 4,000 domestic and foreign enterprises, nearly 700 business groups, and 40 multinational corporations. The 2018 CIFIT is expected to be held in Xiamen, Fujian province from Sept 8 to 11.
