Tourists can visit Swan Lake National Wetland Park for free

Admission will be free for Swan Lake National Wetland Park in Sanmenxia city from April 14 to Oct 31, according to a local report on April 15(late-night tour not included). During this period, all visitors will be able to enter the scenic area free of charge.

The scenic area began controlling traffic and tourist volume on Dec 18, 2017 to create a suitable habitat for swans in winter.

The number of swans in the scenic area during April's swan season has increased since last year, and the swans waited several extra days before migrating back north.

"To reward tourists for their support in protecting the swans, the scenic region will be admission-free for the next several months," said a manager with Swan Lake Tourism Development Co Ltd.
