Jiguan Mountain Forest Park, located in Meihekou, Jilin province, covers a total of 15 sq km and has three 1,000-meter-high peaks.
"Jiguan" means a cock's comb in Chinese. The mountain is so-named because of the shape of its 12 peaks. The highest peak is 969.1 meters.
There is a spring of clean and sweet water running down from the peak all year round.
Furthermore, the park has 90 percent forest coverage and many kinds of wild animals. It is an important area for scientific investigation and teaching and for sightseeing in cool summers.
