Kunyushan National Forest Park is located in the eastern part of Jiaodong peninsula and covers an area of 72,000 mu (1,800 hectares). It is now a national nature reserve, national AAAA tourist attraction and the first national eco-tourism demonstration zone.
Kunyushan is a fascinating ecological mountain and boasts 2,234 species of wild animals and plants and more than 200 rare birds and beasts like wolves and sika deer. It enjoys a pleasant climate and clean air with ample negative ions and abundant oxygen, all of benefit to tourists.
