Shanghai Sheshan National Forest Park
Established in 1993, the Shanghai Sheshan National Forest Park is located in the Songjiang district, 30 kilometers from the downtown area. Covering a total area of 401 hectares, the park features 12 mountains that vary in both shape and size, and are at an altitude of less than 100 meters. The park has rich plant resources with the greening coverage reaching 81.2 percent. There are 147 trees aged over 100 at the park. Lust forest provides wild animal with a good habitat, attracting more than 250 bird species.
