Hohhot City Economic Society established

The inauguration ceremony of the Hohhot City Economic Society was held in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on March 31.

Officials and leaders from the Development Research Center of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Hohhot Municipal Development and Reform Commission, and Hohhot Vocational College attended the event.

The ceremony elected the organization's president, vice-president, and secretary-general.

Members of the society's council were also announced during the ceremony.

Hohhot City Economic Society is a public interest organization focused on academic work. It will organize its members to study regularly the city’s medium- and long-term policies and plans for economic development, industrial upgrading and industrial restructuring.

In addition, the organization is committed to connect the local universities and research institutes with government, providing theoretical support for the further development of the local economy.
