A new theme park named "Huaqiangu" has opened in Huishan district, Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province this flowery April.
Covering an area of 200 mu (13.3 hectares), the first section of the theme park features 1.2 million tulips of over 60 varieties, enveloping the ground in a rainbow of vegetation.
Another 20 large amusement facilities will be installed in the park soon, including a sky wheel and a pirate ship, setting it apart from other parks in Huishan district. All the facilities are currently free to visitors.
In less than a month, over 13,000 visitors have had the opportunity to admire the park's vast sea of flowers.
