A ceremony took place in Lushunkou district of Dalian city, Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on April 9, marking the start of the construction of the 729 cultural tourism project.

The project sponsored by Dalian Lvshun Tourism Group and Dalian Daqing Cultural Industry Group aims to build a comprehensive tourism and culture industrial park based on significant historical events in Dalian.

According to Zhang Liqi, chairman of Dalian Daqing Cultural Industry Group, the first phase of construction consists of two exhibition halls with themes of one-hundred-year history of Lushunkou and the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45), scheduled to be completed in October 2018.
