Hohhot celebrates Day of Happiness

A seminar organized by the Inner Mongolia Academy of Social Sciences, the Chinese Association for Mongolian Studies, and Hohhot Publicity Department was held in the city on April 9, in celebration of International Day of Happiness.

Wu Tuanying, head of the Chinese Association for Mongolian Studies, delivered the keynote address at the seminar.

Luo Qing, vice-mayor of Hohhot, outlined the progress made in local standards of living and the increasing happiness of residents.

Wang Xuefeng, Hohhot Publicity Department director, expressed his hope that Party members would work together to fight for continued improvement of people's well-being.

Other attendees included Liu Shaokun and Zhang Zhihua, Party secretary and committee member of Inner Mongolia Academy of Social Services, and vice-president of the regional federation of social sciences, Hu Yihua.

Guests, experts and academics were invited to exchange ideas on how to bring greater happiness to the city of Hohhot.
