'Solar term store' opens in Shanghai

A store themed after the 24 solar terms has newly opened in Changning district of Shanghai, selling books, tea sets, bookmarks and other cute items related to the theme. The 24 solar terms is a knowledge system and social practice formed through observations of the sun's annual motion and the year's changes in season, climate and phenology. It was added to UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage list in 2016.
