A digital exhibition of Claude Monet (1840-1926) paintings is underway in Jiuwu Culture City in Shenyang, capital of Northeast China’s Liaoning province.
Claude Monet was one of the founders and representatives of impressionism in France.
More than 400 pieces of art based around seven different themes are displayed on large screens via the use of digital imaging technology. They are accompanied by music and changing lamplights, creating an immersive experience for visitors
The exhibition has been held in 14 Chinese cities since 2016, including Chengdu, Beijing and Shanghai. This is the first time that the exhibition has been held in Northeast China.
The exhibition began on March 30 and will run until June 24. It is closed on Mondays.
